An open bay on the south coast of Curacao, 8 km east of Willemstad.

This former oil terminal consists of two berths operated by Curacao Ports Authority.

Vessels normally berth port-side alongside in water depth of 47' (berth #2) and 45' (berth #3).

Caracas Bay is a perfect location for underwater services and minor hull/machinery repairs when a long port stay or full port facilities are unnecessary. There is a special, attractive tariff for such operations involving a lump sum for pilotage, pilot boat, tugs, wharfage and line handling. Fuller details on request.

Similar tariffs apply for use of the Single Point Mooring Buoy located at St. Michiel's Bay, west of Willemstad and Miami Diver (Curacao) Inc. undertake surveys, cleaning and repairs at both locations.
