CURACAO: CURACAO MEGA-CRUISE TERMINAL

This new facility outside Willemstad Harbour has been in service since April 1999 and mega-ships such as "Sun Princess," "Rhapsody of the Seas," and "Vision of the Seas" have already berthed there. This full service facility can provide fresh water and all grades of marine fuel ex-pipe and is also available for all other vessels when not in use by cruise ships.

 

  • Location -South coast of Curacao, 250 meters west of Santa Anna Bay entrance.

  • Water depth -11.50 meters.

  • Total jetty length of main platform and side piers 140 meters.

  • Distance to shore via concourse 100 meters.

  • Handling capacity -One cruise ship of 70,000 GRT and larger.

  • Water delivery -150 tons per hour ex-pipe.

  • Fuel delivery -marine fuels 350m3/hour, gas-oil 150m3/hour ex-pipe.

  • Prevailing currents -O -2.5 knots west.

  • Other currents -O -1.5 knots east.

  • Tide variation, -0.15m/+ 0.25m
